In contrast to heating systems, cooling systems operate at much lower temperatures and within much narrower temperature ranges. This means that temperature readings and the processing of these values in the energy calculator must be more accurate and thus assume greater significance than those of heating systems.
In order to meet the specific measurement requirements, most cooling meters from Aquametro have type approvals according to both the EU directive 2004/22/EU (MID) and the German national directive PTB K 7.2.
